The Roche cobas click HbA1c Test Gen. 2 is a professional point-of-care assay for the quantitative measurement of glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c). Each pack contains 20 tests for use with the cobas click or cobas b 101 analyser.
What does the cobas click HbA1c test measure?
The assay determines HbA1c as both a percentage using the DCCT/NGSP system and in mmol/mol using the IFCC system. The compatible analyser also calculates an estimated average glucose (eAG) value.
HbA1c reflects longer-term blood glucose control. Roche states that the assay is intended to support monitoring in people with diabetes and to aid the diagnosis of diabetes and identification of people at risk of developing diabetes.
